Man Utd stopped further negotiations with Dybala

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskaer has targeted young and hungry players for this transfer window and the board pulled the trigger in an attempt to sign Argentinian Paulo Dybala, but nothing will happen due to the high wage demands from the player.

The club just made Harry Maguire the most expensive defender ever after he signed from Leicester City for €87,5m. After a record fee signing, the sports director have entered talks with the 25-years-old Juventus player, as the part of a proposed transfer exchange deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

According to the sources from England, the clubs made a deal but Dybala refused to join Red Devils. Besides the initial problem over wage demands, he explained he is currently not interested in joining the Premier League and will either stay in Torino or leave to Paris Saint Germain.

Dybala became the part of Italy champions in 2015 when he joined from Palermo. He scored 10 goals for Juve last season, including the only goal in the first leg of the Champions League group match against United in Manchester in October.

Now, there is a big question about the future of Belgium striker Lukaku, who is still aimed by new Inter coach Antonio Conte, but the English club rejected a €60m bid from the Italian club. The United leaders are aiming to get a better offer for powerfull forward.

Manager Solskjaer is focused on keeping the France midfielder Paul Pogba in the roster, despite daily headlines in Spanish media about Real Madrid's interest and determination to sign him. Real have problems in selling their expensive star Gareth Bale and United fans are hoping the Spanish giants do not have the fund available for the transfer.

However, the most important question in Manchester these days is about how new signing Harry Maguire will fit into the team - can he become the 'United's Van Dijk'?
